Nursing care at home

What is covered, what you pay.
With a medical prescription, basic health insurance (LAMal) covers all nursing care and basic care at home. You are left with the usual deductible and co-payment — that’s all.
We bill your insurer directly: all the paperwork is handled by us. Travel costs are on us. Help with housework and support may be funded depending on your situation — let’s talk about it.

From the very start of your care, a lead nurse coordinates everything. Visits are carried out by a small team of care professionals, to foster continuity of care, build a relationship of trust and ensure personalised follow-up. Because good care rests as much on clinical expertise as on knowing the person and their needs.
What people ask us most often.
Yes. Nursing care and basic care at home are covered by compulsory health insurance (LAMal), with a medical prescription. You are only left with the deductible and co-payment. Support services (help with housework, help with shopping, overnight care…) may also be funded depending on your situation — through supplementary benefits (PC) or a partner foundation, which may cover all or part of the costs.
Not necessarily. The request for home care can be made by you, a loved one, your GP or the hospital. Before care begins, we carry out an assessment at your home, then draw up the prescription (OPAS) that we send to your GP for approval, and then to your insurer. We take care of all the paperwork for you.

Yes. We put together a small team suited to your situation, to build a bond of trust and keep your bearings — the same faces, as much as possible.
No. We support every age: children, teenagers, adults and seniors. Anyone losing independence following an illness, an accident, a disability, a chronic condition — or simply as the years start to tell.
We provide everyday help 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our visits take place between 6:30 am and 9 pm. Our administrative staff answer your calls from 8 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 5:15 pm; an on-call nurse takes over outside these hours. On request, support can be provided around the clock (24/7), to allow an early hospital discharge and relief for loved ones.
